Spam, spam, spam, eggs, and spam!

I've been seeing a bunch of spam users on the board lately. Any users with obvious spam urls in their profiles will be banned (i.e. porn or selling drugs etc). If you feel you have been banned in error, please use one of the contact methods to ask to be unbanned. If the problem gets worse, I'll see about upgrading phpbb or adding some spam protection (which would require me to edit the php and php is icky ).

I changed registration so that it requires my approval to get rid of the spam. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Since 99.9% of the user registrations I've been getting are spam, I don't go through them all too often. If you register and want me to activate your account, feel free to send me an email: mike at mv3d dot com.
