Multiverse - suggestions

Please,
I would like to say, that MV3D looks pretty good and that my
suggestions are by no mean a put down of the work been done so far.

So, I think MV3D could be dress up a little
The welcoming screen should be the same as the web page. that images
embodies to essence of multiverse. (I love the female elf, though)

I think it if the welcoming screen should have sounds, it would be great.

The menus are a little to "window-ee"

The font currently being used is hard to make the letter 'e'

I would like to help with some of this given the proper time to get familiar with the code.

I couldn't agree more that the in game UI is bad. I tend to have no patience for making UIs look pretty. I found CEGUI's editor a little cumbersome to work with (especially since files generated by it had to be hand edited anyway), so I ended up either doing the layouts in Python code or hand-writing CEGUI xml.

Funny you should mention the loading pic. In the C++ version of MV3D, it used the same image as the top of the wiki. The current image was made specifically for a loading image by Rik Vargard (an artist who used to help out), but I honestly think it was never really finished (which is why it's a bit rough). I wouldn't mind having something better in its place (which maybe the image from the wiki would be).

By the way, the main reason there aren't sounds anywhere on the client is because I run it so often that it would start to annoy me. :-p But I have no problem adding them with a configuration parameter to turn them off.
